4-Bears Casino
Valley County Transit has planned a 3 day/2 night trip on July 20 - 22nd to 4-Bears Casino in New Town, ND. Cost per person is only $120 (dbl) occupancy or $145 (sgl) which includes your bus transportation and motel room. The casino will provide the following to each person: $90 in promotional credits; free food and drinks, breakfast coupons and discounts in the gift shop.

Charlie Russell Chew-Choo, Chokecherry Festival & What the Hay Days
Valley County Transit will be taking passengers on an overnight trip to Lewistown on September 11th and 12th with the main attraction being a ride aboard the Charlie Russell Chew-Choo Dinner Train. Not only will you have a Gourmet Dinner aboard this charming passenger train, but you will do this while crossing over several trestles, going through a tunnel, and being entertained throughout the trip.
On Saturday, there will be time to take in the Chokecherry Festival which features live entertainment, arts & crafts, food, contests, a car show, and much more.
Sunday morning take a ride on down the road to the Hobson/Utica area where you will get to take in the "What the Hay" event. This is a 21-mile loop of imaginative and often amusing hay bale sculptures.
This fun-filled trip includes transportation, lodging, and dinner train ticket. Cost is as follows: Single - $260; Double - $225; 3/Room - $215, 4/Room - $205. Closing date for this trip is August 25th. Call 228-TRIP (8747) to reserve your seat.
Williston
Every third Tuesday, Valley County Transit provides transportation to Williston for medical purposes. Passengers with medical appointments will be given first priority, however any empty seats will be offered to the general public. A round-trip suggested donation of $30 for those over 60 years of age and a cost of $30.00 for everyone else makes this very affordable. (This service is made possible through the Valley County Council on Aging)
