- Certain items are prohibited on the Valley County Transit for safety reasons:
- No gasoline or flammable liquids
- No firearms, BB guns or airguns
- No animals (except trained service animals)

- No furniture or mattresses
- No large pieces of lumber
- No open alcoholic beverages
- No car batteries
- Baby strollers, shopping carts, and other items must be kept out of aisles.

Daily Stops:
Stops are made at Nemont Manor daily at 1:30 p.m. No call is necessary for this pickup.

Monday through Friday: Summer and Winter hours vary
Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Reservations:
Ride reservations placed a day or more in advance are encouraged and receive preference. Same day service rides are scheduled to fit openings in the bus schedule. Due to ridership demand, please be ready and watching for the bus 10 minutes before your scheduled time. In the same respect, the bus may arrive up to 10 minutes past your scheduled pick up time. Please plan accordingly.
To help us in planning your trip, please be prepared to tell the dispatcher:
- Location of pickup and dropoff
- Time of desired pickup and any appointments
- Telephone number
- If you need assistance
- If you need a wheelchair vehicle
Cancellations:
Please call and cancel a reservation if it is no longer needed. Someone else may be able to take your place!
Lost and Found:
If you lose an item on the bus, please give us a call at 228-TRIP (8747).
Drivers:
Our professional drivers are trained in defensive driving, passenger assistance techniques, first aid and CPR. Our courteous, friendly drivers will personally assist you on and off the bus if needed.
