History:
Valley County Transit began in early 1975 providing transportation services to the elderly and developmentally disabled. Fund raisers were held by organizations to acquire the first vehicle, a 16 passenger Dodge van. In 1980, the program was made available to the general public.

Board Meetings:
The Valley County Transit Board meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday in the months of February, May, August, November. Join us - we welcome your comments.
TAC Meetings:
Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) meetings are held on the first Thursday in the months of February, May, August and November.
